Thank you, Sister Madonna!

Support her most passionate cause with a gift of gratitude in her honor
It is with infinite respect that St. Joseph's Foundation shares the news that Sister Madonna Marie Bolton is retiring after a dedicated career spanning more than 50 years, primarily as a nurse and Sister of Mercy at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center.
Our hospital community has been blessed by Sister Madonna's compassion, humor, progressive attitude and leadership skills, which led her to open St. Joseph’s first pediatric ICU; help launch the Leukemia Foundation for Arizona’s Children; help facilitate the establishment of the Make-A-Wish Foundation; and develop the Oncology Life Enrichment Program in Phoenix.
"I want to thank all of the wonderful people I have had the pleasure of knowing these many years," wrote Sr. Madonna in a recent farewell letter. "You have made my life so happy and rewarding … and you shall remain in my prayers until we meet again.
"As I depart, I ask the personal favor of you to support those afflicted with cancer ... the disease I became so familiar with during my many years of treating patients at St. Joseph's."
Honor Sister Madonna Today!
